BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILE
Millie Ferrer Surdam

Surdam is co-owner of Bright Start Educational Consultants. Upon its inception in 1995, Surdam has worn a variety of hats as the support behind the growth and success of Bright Start Educational Consultants.

A graduate of Mount St. Marys in Los Angeles with her Special Education credential from Cal State Long Beach, Surdam's professional career was as a K-4th grade teacher in the Los Angeles and Baldwin Park Unified School Districts until formation of Bright Start Educational Consultants (formerly known as Healthy Gente).

In addition to the tremendous behind the scenes work for Bright Start, she also was a bilingual translator for The Wright Group, the Educational Division of The Chicago Tribune and Pacific Learning of Huntington Beach.
