Bright Start Leadership Academy

The Bright Start Leadership Academy is a three-day strategic workshop conducted in a serene mountain lodge setting. The workshop teaches school leaders how to implement effective, research-based instructional practices in accordance with the new federal guidelines.

The Bright Start Leadership Academy incorporates the practical knowledge of master educators and administrators with collaborative strategies in a serene, supportive setting.

School leaders are taught not only which research and methods actually work, but also how to put together a written strategy and immediately begin implementation at the school site––reaching the "heart" of leadership through specific action.

Key Staff Members, Lead Teachers, Principals, Assistant Principals, Parents, District Support Staff, Assistant Superintendents and Key Coordinators can all benefit from the Bright Start Leadership Academy.

The Bright Start Leadership Academy is unique in that the learning experience does not end with the conclusion of the Academy. Schools sending four or more participants also receive one full day of follow-up instruction and mentoring from an Academy Facilitator, who will provide additional advice and instruction to ensure leadership techniques are practically implemented and the path student achievement is clear.

The Bright Start Leadership Academy is a " Journey to the Heart of Leadership" that:

• Establishes clear, customized instructional goals for the school based on state-board approved instructional materials and accountability.

• Improves instructional methods using time-tested techniques that are classroom-proven, data-driven, and collaborative.

• Increases student achievement with standards-based instruction and accountability measures––in a clear, step-by-step presentation.

• Three Days of Strategic Workshops taught by highly qualified Bright Start Educational Consultants, Inc. Educational Facilitators

• All Instructional Materials

• One full day of follow-up instruction at the school site 30 days after the Academy's conclusion for each school sending four or more participants.
