BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILE
COLETTE D. ELLIS

Colette Ellis is Founder & Principal of InStep Consulting LLC, a company that helps managers align people and organizational processes to enhance performance. She bases her approach over a decade of managing programs for leading non-profit institutions and corporations in the New York metropolitan area offering technical assistance in program design, implementation and evaluation; staff development; and strategic planning.

As a Consultant for SkillSoft Corporation, Colette helped clients integrate e-learning into their training strategies and align programs with corporate objectives. At Towers Perrin, she implemented global performance improvement programs in leadership and project management. In the public sector, she helped develop and launch the Neighborhood Leadership Institute, a citywide training and capacity building program of Citizens for NYC.

Colette graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with an A.B. in English, and Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service (New York University), as a Dean’s Scholar, with an M.P.A. in Public Finance.
