BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILE
Chin H. Kim

Chin
Kim is Senior Vice President of English Education Curriculum
International (EECI), a comprehensive education consulting
firm based in Los Angeles, CA. She has over two decades of
solid, hands-on experience as an educator in various capacities
– teacher, administrator, consultant, grant writer and
university instructor.
An expert in the area of bilingual
education, second language acquisition and early literacy
programs, she is a forerunner in educating the socio-economically
and linguistically diverse students and families. From program
design development to implementation and evaluation, Kim has
been intimately involved in creating learning opportunities
for students, teachers and administrators. As a grant writer,
she has authored over $149 million worth of winning State
and Federal grants on behalf of schools and districts throughout
California.
Kim’s international
clients include Seoul National University, Ewah Women’s
University, Yoon’s English Academy, Hyundae-Yong-O-Sa,
and Heling Jhiang Province Ministry of Education in the People’s
Republic of China.
She received her bachelor’s
and master’s degrees from the California State University
of Los Angeles and is currently completing her doctorate program
in Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University. She
has served as President of the Korean American Educators Association
and board member of Parent for Better Education and California
Association for Asian Bilingual Education. She received the
Outstanding Educator of the Year from the Korean Ministry
of Education and named to Who’s Who Among Asian Americans. |
